My Classics: Poem 8: Someday I Dream, Someday I Dream...

My Classics: Poem Corner

Hello!! You beautiful, generous, sweet, kind-hearted, and big-hearted people on earth. Hope you are doing great and leading a life of purpose. Hope you are valuing your loved ones and relations more than all those materialistic things. Hope that you are Living and Loving Life.

I took a long break from my blog ever since I moved to Kolkata. A lot has happened in the past two months, will share my experiences shortly. Living with family and loved ones is really, really very special and pleasing, although its very challenging to find time for reading and writing, my two personal interests I have developed in recent times. I have always believed life is full of adventures, you never know what challenge lies the very next moment. Will share the adventures I went through in my next blog.

Today, I present to you my eighth and the last poem I had written in my early years. Interestingly this was my maiden english poem. One request, please don't go on grammar, there may be some mistakes here and there ( बस भावनाओं को समझो!). So, Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, here is my eighth poem on my dreams straight from the pages of my first journal.

Someday I dream, Someday I dream...

Life is the most beautiful thing, God and our Parents have provided us with. Come on, Lets LIVE!

Will come very soon with my next blog. Until then..

Take a very good Care of yourselves, YOU ARE SO SPECIAL!

My Classics: Poem 7: ऐसा हो मेरा परिवार

My Classics: Poem Corner

A happy family is but an earlier heaven.
                                                                                        John Bowring

Today, I present to you my Seventh Poem in the series of Eight Poems I had written in my early years. This poem is my concept of an ideal family. Well! No family is perfect...we argue, we fight, we even stop talking to each other at times but in the end family is family, the love will always be there.  Our family is a circle of strength and love. Lisa Weedn has rightly said "Being a family means you are part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life." In the words of famous author, Richard Bach of the 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' genre, "The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life."

Being the youngest in family, I have always been very close to my family. Family and Family values carry special significance in my life. A few thoughts came (to mind) and I penned them all.

ऐसा हो मेरा परिवार
जिसमे हो खुशियों का भंडार
न हो क्लेश का एक भी द्वार
सुख का जिसमे हो भरमार
हाँ ऐसा हो मेरा परिवार।।

Ladies and Gentlemen, I bring to you my seventh poem straight from the pages of my first journal. Hope you would like it. :)

ऐसा हो मेरा परिवार

Rejoice with your family in the beautiful land of life!
                                                                                                        Albert Einstein

Next week, I come with my last and the only english poem I had written on my dreams, titled "Someday I dream, Someday I dream". Stay tuned.

Take a very good care of your selves and always keep Smiling!

My Classics: Poem 6: जीवन के ये रिश्ते

“Because I miss them. Because I need them. Because I love them.”
― Rebecca Wells, on family relationships

Hello Everyone in this beautiful world around! How are you doing today? Hope you are fit, fine and healthy; and hope all your relations are healthy and sound. I took a break last Saturday spending some of the most memorable moments with family and relatives. Today I present to you my Sixth poem I had written after my school days. This poem is based on the importance of relations in life. There is an old saying that health and relationships are the two most important thing that we usually take for granted and we do realize its value only after we lose them. I urge each one of you not to repeat the same, and that please, please respect and love your loved ones now onwards (if you are not doing so already) and on time before it's too late.

जीवन के ये रिश्ते

Hope you liked this poem. Next week, I come with my seventh and also my last but one poem I had written in my early years. The poem is titled 'ऐसा हो मेरा परिवार', an account of my ideal family.
My latest poems in the making. Coming Soon!

God Bless Every Living being!

My Classics: Poem 5: छू लेंगे आस्मां हम

My Classics: Poem Corner

A very refreshing Hello!! to each one of you reading me now. May your day be filled with loads of enthusiasm, celebrations, passion, kindness and most of all  lots and lots of love. Hope you are in high spirits, loving your life and living to the fullest.

Its been a busy week. I had been completely engaged in packing and shifting stuffs in relation to my Transfer to the City of Joy. Today, and finally, I bid farewell to the City of Gardens. Its been a happy 15 months of stay in the major IT hub of the country. Bangalore is good and I love it for reasons more than one. I will be happy to give it a visit time and again. However certainly this is not the city where in I am going to settle for obvious reasons. Too far from home is the prime of them. I will be able to take good care of my dear Parents from a city near to home and Kolkata fits this requirement though there are other limitations in the Bengal Capital city. I am coming KOLKATA!!

Inline with my commitment of sharing my Poems, I had written in my teen years, I am here to present my fifth poem. This poem expressed my ambitions and dreams in life. Well! my flight is in another 30 minutes, so will make it short. Only point I wish to share today is that you must have GOALS in your life which propels you to get up from your couch each morning. A Goalless life is a worthless and an useless life. Today, I encourage every single of you to have goals and dream big. And most importantly do something about it.

So... Ladies and Gentlemen ....Here's my fifth Poem straight from the pages of my first journal. Hope you would like it.

छू लेंगे आस्मां हम

Wishing each one of you a Very Happy Weekend.

Keep Winning! Keep Smiling!

My Classics: Poem 4: माँ

Saturday, 27 April 2013; 3:25pm

My Classics: Poem Corner

"No language can express the power, and beauty, and heroism, and majesty of a mother's love.  It shrinks not where man cowers, and grows stronger where man faints, and over wastes of worldly fortunes sends the radiance of its quenchless fidelity like a star"
                                                                                                                       -Edwin Hubbell Chapin

" 'Maa', 'Mata', 'Mom', 'Mommy', 'Amma', 'Ammi', 'Mother' they call her with different names, and each time they are calling the GODDESS"
                                                                                                             -Narendra Gupta

Hello All you beautiful, kind, generous, loved and respected People in the world around! How are you doing today? Hope you are in the best of your healths, leading a life of purpose, hope you are encouraging lives all around and most importantly, hope you are taking good care of your Parents. Soon I will be posting articles under a new label 'Parents' which will be focused on inspiring (my)self and each one of you to serve our real GOD, yes our Parents.

Mother's Day, which recognizes mothers, motherhood and maternal bonds is approaching (12-May-13).
For me each day is a mother's day. No love, no care can equal, exceed or even come closer to a Mother's love and care. While surfing on net, I came across this interesting fact: A human body can bear up to 45 Del (units) of pain but at the time of giving birth, a woman feels up to 57 Del of pain which is equal to 20 bones getting fractured at a time. I closely realized this when my wife was describing the pain she went through while delivering our daughter. I was completely moved and had a goose-bump sensation thinking of the degree of pain a mother has to bear. I wonder how (some) people discard parents in their old-age.

Today, I am here to share my fourth Poem in the series of eight poems I had written as a teenager (March,1999).  I dedicate this poem to my Mother and all the Mothers on earth.

The poem goes like this:

माँ किस चीज का नाम है
शायद साक्षात् भगवान् है
यह तो सबसे बढ़कर इंसान है
इसके बिना तो दुनिया सुनसान है।।

Hope you would like it. Here it goes... straight from the pages of my First Journal....

माँ

Hope you liked my poem on Mothers. If you are teenager reading me, respect your mothers and listen to what they say, if you are into your 20s, 30s, and beyond and if you are lucky enough to have your Parents alive, take care of them to the best you can. Life is short, every one has to go, time gone will not return back. I remember of the saying, 'We take for granted the people who love us the most until we lose them'. Adore, respect and love your Mom, your Dad until its too late.

Right next week, I will be back (in poems corner) with my fifth poem (that) I had written on my Ambitions, some 14 years back. The poem is titled 'छू लेंगे आस्मां हम'. Hope to see you then. As usual, I would be available on my Daily Gratitude pages every single day.

Youth fades; love droops; the leaves of friendship fall; A mother's secret hope outlives them all
                                                                                                                      -Oliver Wendell Holmes

Until then
Keep Winning.

My Classics: Poem 3: मेरे स्कूल के वो दिन!

My Classics: Poem Corner

I pray for speedy recovery of the little child who is fighting for her life at a hospital in Delhi. They say prayers have power and on this forum, may I urge each one of you to pray for the angel. She must live. She must go to school. She must enjoy her childhood and do something worthwhile in her life. Yes, she must see the good side of LIFE. It was certainly not a 'good morning' to start my day today. The barbaric act and the atrocities the child had gone through was disturbing me. You may read my feelings and my demand to the makers of law here I vision of such an India..

Today, I present to you my third poem in the series of eight poems I had written as a teenager. I wrote this poem just after my 10th Board Exam (March, 1999). School days are the most cherished days in one's (academic) life. Leaving the school where I studied for eight long years was painful indeed. In fact, last week I shared my second poem  जीवन क्या है? that I had written on a sad note. The then (im-matured) Narendra had defined life on the basis of those eight years. Well! moving on, here is my feel good poem on the days I spent in my school. I dedicate this poem to all my school friends, teachers, and overall my school, Bokaro Ispat Vidyalaya, Sector 6A.

Ladies and Gentlemen, here is my third poem, first time on a public forum, straight from the pages of my first journal:

मेरे स्कूल के वो दिन!

Yes! I can see some of you chuckling reading my last page..All those childhood, innocent stuff :)

 पर जीवन के सपनो को सच करने के लिए
पापा-मम्मी के दुखों को बस करने के लिए
दर्द सहना होगा यह जुदाई का
एक सफल वयक्तित्व बनने के लिये ||

The teenager Narendra concluded his poems with the above lines, and rightly so. Each stage of life has its own importance. You need to enjoy it and keep moving forward.

Right next week, same day, (any time :P) comes my fourth poem, I had written on my Mother and all the mothers on Earth, titled ' माँ '. Stay tuned!!

My Classics: Poem 2: जीवन क्या है?

My Classics: Poem Corner

Hope you liked the fitness schedule I shared this morning. As promised last Saturday, I am here with my second Poem 'जीवन क्या है?',  (that) I had written just after my 10th Board exam (March, 1999). This was the only poem I had written on a sad note (and perhaps will be the last one).

The Poem reflects the mind of a some 15 year old Narendra, who leaves his first school and more importantly his school friends. In his limited and im-matured mind it was like......like a mountain falling overhead, like the end of all happy and fun filled days, like plunging into a deep trench...down and down and down.....and still down. The school was kind of world for him, he had heart felt connections to it (Why not? He spent 8 long years there). Also, he had a crush on a fellow classmate and he would not be able to see her again was something troubling him. In a state of despair he penned down his feelings.

Okay. My dear Friends and Readers, I present to you my second Poem straight from the pages of my first journal:

जीवन क्या है?

Enough of negative talking. By no means Life is all this negative junk written above by the teenager me. In fact, Life is the most precious and a beautiful gift, a platform to perform our best in each aspect.

Okay. One important message I wish to share here. The incidence which I wrote before the poem could be anyone's story during those adolescence years.  That mindset had put a negative impact on my studies for a brief period. I did not perform to my potentials be it academics or other areas of life for the next 2 years. So, if you have an younger brother or sister (or a son/daughter) passing through similar stage, I urge you to constantly counsel him/her and encourage them to focus on bigger things ahead in career and not to waste time thinking about the opposite gender. All good things will come with time. Why waste precious time. If you are wasting time, you are wasting your life. The earlier people understand this the better it is for their life ahead.

Let me recollect those beautiful lines on life that I came across several years ago. Still remember by heart :)

LIFE is a gift, I accept it. Life is an adventure, I dare it. Life is a mystery, I'm unfolding it.

Life is a puzzle, I'm solving it. Life is a game, I play it. Life can be a struggle, I'm Facing it.

Life is beauty, I Praise it. Life is an opportunity, I Took it. Life is my mission, I'm fulfilling it!

My next poem is a 'masala'  and feel good poem written on my school days. One of my favorites. Coming next week. Stay tuned !!

Wishing you all a Happy and useful Life.

Good Night. Subho Ratri (as they say in bengali here in Kolkata)
