This evening after returning from office, I met my neighbor, my entrepreneur friend who started his company some 6 months ago. We had an extended conversation on the struggles followed by small victories and then the ongoing struggles which he is going through and Which I am braving all these days. We thought struggles make you stronger and more powerful mentally. They motivate you to go the extra mile and provide you the strength not to befuddle when the ship is caught in the storms. Here is a quote centered on struggles of life:
“If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.”
― Frederick Douglass
Earlier in the evening I had almost made up my mind not to workout but when I was coming to home ..it occurred as if my footsteps automatically progressed towards the Gym. Though I entered inside reluctantly and was in a baffled state of mind for 4-5 minutes, I decided to workout. And yes I worked out beautifully for almost an hour. It was Day no 51 at Gym in my current quest [M70: M6W21D51]. Just to remind myself and all of yourselves, the current run for M70 is finishing this March 31.
Further, lots of action items for this weekend, filling my Annual Appraisal and cleaning my all messy room ever since I returned from my home trip remains the top agenda.
Saying Goodbye and GoodNight only for today,
Love you all.
